At Journey Zone Preschool & Childcare, we believe every child is a gift from God and deserves a safe, loving place to learn and grow. As a ministry of Heritage Baptist Church, our goal is to partner with families by providing Christ-centered care that encourages children to grow spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. Our staff is passionate about creating a place where children feel safe, have fun, build friendships, and develop a lifelong love for learning while growing in their relationship with Christ. We strive to create an environment where children feel loved, and Christ is at the center of everything we do.

Christ-Centered Learning

  • Biblical Foundation – God's Word is woven into our daily routine through Bible stories, prayer, worship, and conversations that help children learn about His love.

  • Learning Through Play – We believe children learn best through hands-on experiences. Our classrooms provide opportunities to explore, create, problem-solve, and build friendships while having fun.

Journey Zone serves children 6 weeks through 12 years of age, including:

License-Exempt Program

Journey Zone Preschool & Childcare is a license-exempt child care program through the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) as a ministry of Heritage Baptist Church. While we operate as a license-exempt program, we are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and high-quality environment where children are cared for, encouraged, and loved each day.

Enrollment

Enrollment is based on classroom availability. Families interested in Journey Zone can complete our Enrollment Interest Form to be added to our waiting list. As openings become available, families are contacted when an opening matches their child's age and classroom needs.
